Men's Playoff Picture: SNC Clinches Home Ice
The Men's Conference playoff picture is still cloudy, but here
are a few notes regarding possible scenarios, after Friday night's
results:
* St. Norbert has clinched a home playoff series with its tie
Friday night at UW-Superior.
* St. Norbert clinches at least a share of the NCHA championship
with a win Saturday at St. Scholastica and a loss by UW-River Falls
(at UW-Stout), plus a tie or loss by UW-Stevens Point (at
UW-Superior).
* UW-Stevens Point clinches home ice for first round of playoffs
with a win Saturday over UW-Superior.
* UW-River Falls clinches home ice for first round of playoffs with
a win Saturday over UW-Stout, or a loss by UW-Superior.
* St. Scholastica clinches home ice for first round of playoffs
with a win Saturday over St. Norbert, or a loss by UW-Superior.
