USCHO Women's Poll: St. Norbert, Adrian stay steady in rankings

Green Knights and Bulldogs don't move from preseason poll

ADRIAN, Mich. -- St. Norbert and Adrian stayed steady in the latest USCHO Women's Poll, released on November 3. The Green Knights split an opening weekend series, whiel the Bulldogs lost a pair of games.

St. Norbert received 199 points and came in No. 6 in the poll. The Green Knights dropped Friday's game, 3-2, after coming back from a 2-0 deficit in the third period. The hosts then captured a 2-1 overtime victory on Saturday to claim the victory over No. 5 Gustavus Adolphus to start the season.

Adrian received 124 points and was No. 9 in the poll. The Bulldogs couldn't pull an upset over the opening weekend of the season at No. 2 Augsburg. They lost Friday's matchup 4-1 before giving up a 3-2 decision on Saturday despite having the game tied at 2-2 in the final frame.
