ADRIAN, Mich. — The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced its women's hockey 3 Stars of the Week for games played November 28-30.

Chloe Downey, F, So., Trine
Downey delivered explosive offensive performances, powering the Thunder to a weekend sweep over Stevenson by scores of 5-3 and 4-2. The Collier Township, Penn., native registered 5 goals across the two victories. In Friday's opener, she tallied two goals, including the opening score and empty-netter that sealed the win. On Saturday, Downey recorded a hat trick (game's opening goal in the 1st period and back-to-back goals in the 2nd period). He second goal was a short-handed, game-winner.

Tristan Wicklund, F, So., St. Norbert
Wicklund was the main playmaker for the Green Knights as St. Norbert swept UW-Superior.. The Mosinee, Wis. native recorded 4 assists in Friday's, 6-3, win and then secured the series with the most dramatic goal of the weekend on Saturday. After a scoreless regulation, Wicklund scored the overtime game-winning goal at 1:42 of the extra frame, giving her 5 points (1G, 4A) for the two-game series.

Macy Blooming, GK, Fr., Aurora
Blooming backstopped the Spartans to a successful weekend sweep over Beloit and Dubuque to claim the Mississippi Match-Up Championship, hosted by Dubuque. She posted a phenomenal 0.50 goals-against average and a .977 save percentage. The Milwaukee, Wis., native was impressive in Thursday's, 2-0, victory over Beloit, stopping all 14 shots she faced to earn the first shutout of her career. Blooming followed that up on Friday with another strong performance, allowing just one goal and making 21 saves in the 4-1 win over Dubuque. Over the two games, Blooming turned away 35-of-36 shots.
