USCHO Women's Poll: Bulldogs jump to 7th, Green Knights slide

Adrian moves up two spots, St. Norbert drops to 14th after tough road trip

The latest USCHO Division III Women's Poll, released on January 12, brought significant movement for NCHA programs. While Adrian surged forward to its highest ranking this season, St. Norbert slipped in the poll, and Concordia Wisconsin bolstered its case for a top-15 spot with a dominant weekend.

Adrian received 159 points and jumped two spots to No. 7 in the poll. The Bulldogs (11-4-0) moved past both Norwich and UW-Eau Claire this week. After a rigorous holiday schedule that included a split against national contenders in New York, the Bulldogs benefited from a reshuffling of the top-10 to secure their best position of the season.

St. Norbert received 63 points and dropped seven spots to No. 14 in the poll. The Green Knights (10-5-0) faced a difficult road trip to Duluth, Minn., where they were swept by St. Scholastica. St. Norbert struggled to find the back of the net over the weekend, falling 3-1 on Friday and suffering a narrow 1-0 shutout loss on Saturday. They have now lost three-consecutive games.

Concordia Wisconsin continues to build momentum, receiving 20 votes. The Falcons (13-1-0) put on a defensive show over the weekend at home, shutting out Beloit in back-to-back games. After a 2-0 win on Friday, they exploded for a 9-0 victory on Saturday. Concorida Wisconsin is riding a program-record 12-game winning streak.
